THE STORY: This medal commemorates Modesto's Sorenson and Peterson Brewery. An Important part of almost every community in the 1800's was its brewery. In Stanislaus County, the Sorenson and Peterson Brewery filled this need as the area's largest and most productive. The medal depicts the brewery as it looked circa 1880. To date, this is the only medal designed by a junior member.
